St. Johns’ Annual Meeting–Tuesday April 27, 8pm, in the Church
At the meeting, we will be electing or re-electing Churchwardens and Parochial Church Council (PCC) members to serve from 2021, as well as the normal reporting functions of the annual meeting. To be eligible to stand for election, candidates must be aged 16 or over (21 for Churchwardens), be actual communicants, have been registered on the Electoral Roll for the previous 6 months, and have indicated a willingness to stand. Other considerations are contained in the Church Representational Rules.
Nomination forms for election are now available in the church. If you would like further information on what is involved in any of these roles, or to volunteer to stand for election, please speak to the Churchwardens.
The Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2020 have again been distributed by email this year, saving considerable time, effort and cost. For those on the Electoral Roll who are not on email, printed (named and addressed) copies are available in the church from where they can be collected.
Please be aware that to conform with social distancing measures, it will be necessary to limit the numbers attending the meeting, so please contact the Parish office to book your place. Bookings can be taken until 12 noon on the 27th. The meeting will also be live streamed.
David Carr, PCC Secretary.
