John Pearson Hall 

The John Pearson Hall is adjacent to St. John’s Church and is used for refreshments after the main Sunday and midweek services but it is also used throughout the week for church meetings and community events, such as, exercise classes, children's birthday parties, fundraising events and other meetings.

The hall is available for bookings (one off or regular hire) throughout the year (Monday - Saturday) at very competitive rates. The hall is large with a well equipped kitchen.

Our regular users include Seniors Health & Fitness, Alresford and Cheriton Cubs as well some of our Benefice activity groups like Coffee, Cake & Chat, Table Talk, and Chatterbox which are open to anyone in the local community to attend.

​We also have a light and airy annex to the hall called the West Room (included in main hall booking) with comfortable sofas. The central heating can be adjusted to give appropriate heating at all times of the year.

Seating for about 80 people
Folding tables (15 large and 7 small)
Crockery, glassware and cutlery
Coffee Machine
Microwave oven
Dishwasher
Toilets (including disabled access)

Hiring the Hall:

Hire Rates:
Hourly rate £20 for occasional users.
Hourly rate £14 for regular users.
These rates include heating and use of the kitchen.  There is no VAT.

Users are asked to comply with the PCC's Health & Safety and Safeguarding regulations and to demonstrate that they hold appropriate and adequate insurance, indemnifying them against third party claims.  St. John's Church PCC cannot accept responsibility for any risks resulting from actions or negligence or users of the hall.

Each church has its own system of making newcomers welcome.  

Do I need to be a member to attend services regularly?  
Not at all.  All are welcome to attend any service.
