Exploring Faith? Consider Alpha.

Alpha Course
The Alpha course is a great way to find out more about the aspects of the Christian faith and an opportunity to ask lots of questions or just to take time to think through the many issues involved in being a Christian.

What is Alpha?

The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. It’s relaxed, low-key, friendly, and fun. It’s a place where people can come and ask questions, delve into issues and look for answers together.

The course is free of charge, run for a few sessions over a period of time, and includes a relaxed evening meal, a lively talk & small discussion groups – where questions & doubts are explored in an open & helpful way.

Who’s it for?

Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. The videos are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

Register your interest

We run Alpha a few times a year at St. John's.
Please email Rosie Waring Green, e. rosie@22rwg.co.uk to register your interest and she will be in touch to give you more details as soon as possible.

We look forward to seeing you!

Comments from our groups:

The Alpha course is great! What it does is cover the foundations of Christianity in a simple, accessible and engaging way that helps it all to make sense and join the dots. Combining short videos, discussion and socialising over some food this course is well worth your time to attend - it's a recommend from me...! Paul

"I had heard so much about the Alpha Course and had long wanted to participate in it.  I was not disappointed and found it to be inspiring and stimulating.   I loved the comradeship with others and making new friends." Caroline
