Services during this week
10am Midweek Holy Communion
A time to pause midweek with a weekly Holy Communion Service at St. John's, when we can meet together to celebrate the Eucharist and have coffee and cake in a time fellowship afterwards. This service will be livestreamed on Facebook.
Sunday 14th August
9.30am All Age Worship
The second Sunday Service is less formal than the other Sunday Services. The sermon is geared towards the younger members of the congregation and the hymns and songs tend to be more modern and lively. This service will be livestreamed on Facebook.
6pm Sundays @ Six
This year, Heather, Ian and Peter will be helping us to look in detail at the Lord's Prayer, that we so often say without thinking, and the impact that the prayer can have on our lives and the lives of others. Each second Sunday of the month we will be taking one sentence at a time which will take us up to November.
This is a real opportunity to reflect on the prayer Jesus gave us as a model and find ways of deepening and enhancing our prayer life - individually and corporately.
You are very welcome to come and have tea and cake from 5.45pm before this gentle and reflective service.
9.30am Morning Praise with Sue
A lay led service in the church. All are welcome.
11am Parish Communion
All are welcome at this tradtional Eucharist in our beautiful historic church.
11am Morning Prayer (BCP)
On the Second Sunday of the month at 11am there is a traditional service from the Book of Common Prayer.
