A place of worship has been on the site of All Saints Church for 1,000 years. The first reference to a church on the site appears in the Domesday Book. It has been rebuilt and altered several times over the last 1000 years. In its current form the earliest part of the church dates from 1180.

The biggest event in our community calendar in a normal year is the Annual Feté, held in early September, which involves a large proportion of local residents. There is a wide variety of activities and events, involving a huge amount of preparation alongside on-the-day participation, and the money raised is divided equally between the Church and the Village Hall.

There is also a large attendance at the round-the-village Carol Singing which, in normal years, begins at the Village Hall, visits various homes and then the Church; carols are sung, everyone is encouraged to embrace the true meaning and spirit of Christmas, and all the children are given an olive wood tree decoration from Bethlehem; the evening concludes with refreshments and a visit from Father Christmas. Donations are collected for specific local charities.
